Rosemary, I made the effort and went to a 900 year old church in a nearby village, which was listed in the Doomsday Book. The church is called St. John the Baptist in Dronfield and it’s in Derbyshire, England. I had with me my old digital camera, my video camera and my iphone with inbuilt camera.
Here’s the clip I took with my video camera.
As you can see from the above video, when I looked through the lens of my video camera there were bright white vertical lines, rather than a red orb/violet vertical lines.
When I looked through my phone camera the violet lines were not there but a red orb appeared in the same place.
The background to this red orb was a dark wall. There was no light anywhere that could shine on it through the windows. The white area above the wall is painted ceiling which is non-reflective.
I also took my faithful old digital camera and, as expected, I found the predictable violet lines (rather than the white lines that show up in the video) when looking through the lens. (I am not able to send you the image because of the age of the technology and I know from previous experience that the lines never show up on a printed picture anyway.)
From Rosemary: I commented to Anne on the triangular shape (and religious symbolism) that can clearly be seen on the wall behind the lines in the video. Anne replied:
The triangular pattern you can see on the photo is just the way the wall is built and not of any religious significance as far as I know. The church had its 900th anniversary a few years ago and has a lovely “feel” to it. This was the first time I had been in it even though I lived in the village for 9 years.

I know some members have first hand experience of encountering, even living with orbs. I know Anne and I would welcome your insights into what may be causing this difference in shape and colour between the energy which is picked up by the video camera, the iphone and the old digital camera (image unseen).
Does this prove or disprove the existence of orbs and, if the former, who or what is causing them?
