It seems safe to say that encountering real ghosts is probably one of the main paranormal experiences that people report. It is also the paranormal encounter that seems to excite the most people!
Ghostly experiences are not confined to sighting apparitions. The real ghosts have developed a broad range of ingenious ways of contacting the living which involves all of our five senses … and a whole lot more.

Oh yes, one thing I missed on both your articles Dolly.
One reason for an individual not sensing paranormal is that they are blocked with everyday issues within their own life. Also if they are in denial, again this can be a blocking device.
It is very possible these individuals have had spiritual contact in their life but have never noticed it because of this. Because of this if spirit ever did get through it would be such a shock that the individual could possibly go into denial anyway.
I believe spirit are very choosy and careful on making themselves known. They do not intend to upset anyone, but this is not to be confused with negativity because that is a different ball game.
Good spirit can see and feel who they can communicate with, they would know who they can trust and who would assist them. This is the main reason why many individuals do not get chosen.
We with gifts are very lucky to be able to be open to spirit but also we can close ourselves down to block spirit, this is when we need to rest.
Maybe some individuals have blocked themselves without realizing it? (There is a thought!)

Alan, I think people do shut down – consciously or unconsciously. That is what Dean Radin alludes to – if we can fins out how we shut down then we can begin to understand how we open up.
That idea really resonates with me

We who know how to shut down are recognisable to ourselves, but I see where your coming from.
Could it be that spirit intervention has the ability to close some individuals down for their own protection because they are not aware of their surroundings?
We also understand that we have spirit guides. Who is to know what decisions they are instructed to do for each individual? If a spirit has the energy to move objects or the will to thought messages, can they also help you with protection?
I would say there is a possibility that they have the ability to open or close an individual without that individual being aware of it. I am talking about persons who are inexperienced in spirit activity.
Now there is something to think about!

These are very intriguing comments you both make.
I want first, to let you both know that I am not real experienced in any of this, except for just a few personal experiences, and most I have experienced through others real experiences, if you will.
Alan, I find it so interesting that you suggest that our guides just may be closing us off to certain experience with spirit as a protective measure, until they deem us ready. This sounds very plausible to me.
This closing down thing…the gal who I speak of a lot must do this, or else she gets no reprieve. So many spirits, once they recognize the “shroud of light” surrounding an individual, as Alan has described it, are so very anxious to communicate…bless their hearts. But I have read reports of communication where often a medium or sensitive’s guides do assist and “close the gate” when asked.
I think Rosemary is thinking along lines I also might consider, that if we knew how we close ourselves off, (if we do it ourselves) to spirit contact, we could also understand how to remove that block.
As for me, I feel perfectly willing, on a conscious level, to invite this contact, but on an un/subconscious level, who knows?
As for our guides, I personally believe that these are appointed upon our birth, in many cases, as guardians, and remain with us till we depart from physicality, and then there are other guides, too, who assist us, and many are close loved ones, like grand or great grandparents, etc., depending on their higher spiritual evolving.
That’s just my personal take from various studies.

One wall in my loungeroom is particularly active or possibly it is because the television is there and attention is drawn to it.
I got some great angelic-like photographs.
The manifestation occurred further from the electro-magnetic energy of the TV, so you can spot an attempt to extract energy from the clock radio and then the telephone on the photographs.
Have seen other spirit manifestations and have become quite used to this scenario.

I’m interested to know more about this occurrence in your lounge.
First, in reference to the angelic-like photos, do you have a christian tradition background? It seems to me that – gross generalisation coming up – people who are or were Christian tend to see outlines of angels, Virgin Mary, Jesus etc. So, not wishing to pry, I’m wondering if you were brought up Christian?
Second, is there any chance you’d like to share one of the photos here on Psychic Revolution?
And, I am also interested to know why you feel the entity is attempting to ‘extract energy’ from the sources.

Gosh! I am a bit tardy.
Just found your website again.
I was bought up as a Christian, but in a low-key way which was more directed to using religion as a moral grounding, teaching kindness and right from wrong. My Dad was Catholic and Mum was Church of England. I had to go to church every Sunday till I was 16, but this rule was instrumented with good humour and love by my parents, particularly as they never attended church.
We lived on a small block with a Catholic Church across the road, Catholic school next door and Presbyterian (which I went to) up on the far corner. The house block we lived on is now a convent.
Now I would class myself as a Spiritualist (as were my Grandmother and Great Grandmother) and I resist religion as a man-made phenomenon, but still believe in God or maybe The Great Spirit and Angels.
I realise entities use electromagnetic energy to manifest. In some of my photographs it is obvious that an attempt had been made to extract energy from the small clock-radio.
This was obviously not satisfactory and it moved to the telephone line.
You may observe white ectoplasmic-like matter being extracted from these instruments in the photographs.
All this occurred around the Solstice last June which was Dad’s birthday and also close to the anniversary of his death.
I kept the SD card from the camera, as well and you can see the movement of the entity.
Somehow I think it was a Mum, as she was a strong resourceful person.
We had been going through extremely traumatic circumstances here at home and I think she did it to give us a boost.

Yes, go ahead and put whatever photographs you like on the site. I think they should be spread around as they are authentic and are indicative of what may occcur when you least expect it. Also, I think it helps with the issue of “Faith.”
Just a note on different photographs. The streak of orbs was an earlier one (pre-”Angel”) and was taken after we had been playing with some kittens in the loungeroom. The “double crosses” (earlier too) may have symbolic of the Archangel Gabriel, the Messenger (Tarot), messaging the eminent arrival of “The Angel”. One of the last photographs I took was the tiny orb on top of the candle. I had watched a paranormal program the night before where they had “a spirit” switch on a torch (sounded a bit set-up to me, but who knows) and I thought I would try it. The plumber arrived and I left the torch on the floor. That night I took the photograph and to my surprise and with lots of humour I discovered the small orb. It was as though the entity was saying we don’t need torches (I have found that some entities do have an amazing sense of humour).
Incidentally, I work in the field of science.
