12. MEANING OF DREAMS
i was sleeping. i was about 22 yrs old. in my dream i was walking up the stairs to this older house. then the next scene i was in bed. the window was to my left with a dresser, closet with no doors in front of me with the light on, the door to my right, a chair next to the bed. The room looked like it should be condemed. why i was there i havent a clue. all of sudden i got scared so like i did when i was a kid i hid under the covers. I got up enough courage to peek my head up out of the covers but still had my eyes closed. I saw a white being walk into my room walk around the bed and sat on the chair watching me sleep. ( i was paralyzed from the waist down because i was so scared.) I told it in my mind ” go away your scaring me!” but the thing said in my mind “dont worry im not here to harm you.” but i kept saying it. So this white being walked out the door. Then i opened my eyes as she was leaving. i saw a woman in an 1800s dress, with the white lacy dress all the way up her collar, wrist and ankles. then she went silhoutte and her aura was all white, so white i couldnt directly look at her. I was in the room for a while wondering what it was. Then i woke up in my own room and i was still paralyzed from the waist down. i couldnt remember where i was even though that room was mine for over 10 yrs.

17. MEANING OF DREAMS,
GHOST STORIES, POLTERGEIST,
CLAIRAUDIENCE
This happened over a period of time, I wont go into everything that happened, but I’ll go into some key points.
All of a sudden I started going to bed terrified. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why either. I kept telling myself I was being stupid and trying to ignore the fear. I then started having dreams of being chased by a spirit, I would wake up only to find that the presence I was feeling in the dream, was also in my room. After a few weeks of trying to find a rational explination for it all, I finally started to play with the idea of there being a spirit in my house. I have always believed in spirits as I had many experiences as a child. But for some reason I just could not believe that my own house could be haunted.
After a while the dreams became more intense. On a few occassions I would wake out of a dream only to feel this weird sensation come over me, at which point I would pass out and the dream would pick up where it left off. As this was going on, I started to wake up to something grabbing my arm or my ankle when there was no one in the room. Other nights I was woken to my bed shaking or I would hear a deep rasping breathing in my ear. I started to post these experiences on a paranormal forum where I was given advice on how to cleanse a place. One night I went into my room to try and do the cleansing techniques. I did everything I was told and then walked down the hallway to go and get something from the bathroom. As I walked back to my room I saw a tall dark figure standing in the doorway of my bedroom. I’m not sure what came over me, but this anger filled me, I was so mad that this thing had been keeping me awake for so long. So I marched down the hall and walked right through the figure – it was icey cold. I then closed my bedroom door. I then started to ask the powers that be to send help. A few seconds later I heard scratching at my door.
I cautiously opened my door and one of my cats marched in. This is very odd because this cat never comes in my room as my other cat has laid claim over it. As she walked in she started jump around like something was grabbing her back paws. Then she turned around and sat bolt upright, and stared at the door. I couldn’t get her to move, so i climbed into bed and read. After about an hour she came and sat on the edge of my bed, but still sitting upright and staring at the door. At this point the mood had lifted considerably. She eventually went to sleep and so did I.
The one thing I found the most strange about that incident however, was that about 2 weeks beforehand, I had had a dream where I was being chased by a spirit through a house and then I found my cat (the one that came into my room that night) and hid behind her and the spirit could not pass. Eventually after much help and advice from mediums and my mum (a reiki master, who also can sense spirits), the house was cleansed and the spirit left.

19. MEANING OF DREAMS
Was renting an apartment in upstate New York. Began to have dreams about a woman who was asking me for help. The apartment began to take on an oppressive atmosphere and I began to have suicidal thoughts. I learned that the woman who had lived in the apartment before me had committed suicide two weeks before I moved in. Her first name, middle initial and last initial were the same as mine. The landlord confirmed that this was true after I confronted her and allowed me to change apartments.
