Remember to Live Before We Die

Instead of discussing an extract from the survey I thought I’d take time out from the subject of death to think about life.

Beginning the Conversation on really Living Before We Die

Reading again through all the accounts of death reminds me how easy it is to drift through life without truly living it. What do I mean by that? I think each of us can reflect on – where we are, who we are, what we’ve done and how well we have lived our lives thus far. – if we choose to. I’m one of those who likes to think (is it possible to think too much?), reflect and get a gut feeling for where I am in the continuum of my life. It is purely for my own benefit that I do this but it is something that helps me feel that I am moving through life, rather than drifting along, feeling buffeted by the winds of chance, coincidence and circumstance.

Of course, my personal assessment of how my life is going is a subjective one and so it should be. It is part of who I am and I do it for no one else’s sake but my own. Have you given much thought to the things you would like to do, to experience, to leave to the world after you pass? Stuck for Ideas?
